The course German for health care professionals: telc German B1·B2 is designed for participants who want to start working in the medical health care field, and want to improve their business German. At the same time the course prepares for the exam telc Deutsch B1 B2 Pflege.
The course specifically covers vocabulary and phrases for hospitals, care for the elderly and health care at home. We follow a pragmatic approach and focus on communication skills needed when communicating with patients, family, colleagues and doctors, both face to face and on the phone.
Our teaching is based on the “communicative approach” with a lot of interaction among the participants. This methodology is focussed on the oral communication and builds confidence in speaking. Apart from that we follow the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
The course prepares participants for the exam telc Deutsch B1·B2 Pflege, our emphasis is on oral and writing skills. This certificate is recognized by German institutions and ministries.
Collegium Palatinum is an accredited test centre and you can take the telc exam at our school on request.
Please note:
Participants whose language competence is not yet at the required level for the telc exam, should take general German lessons before booking the telc preparation class. Please check your German language level.
Weekends:
The courses take place on 2 weekends: 1.weekend, Friday from 6-8:30 pm and Saturday from 10 am - 3 pm. 2. weekend Saturday from 10 am - 3 pm. Course dates:
